Yes, Crown Driving Academy Inc. is a Ministry Approved Beginnger Driver Education Course Provider.

Note: Only until student did not start the course yet. But once student start the course  then they are not allowed to do changes. 

No, Crown Driving Academy will not serve any individual, for in car lessons, with narrow, limited or odd schedules. Each student must provide a flexible schedule with an open window, including weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons and evenings. 

Our full course consists of 20 hours of classroom instructions, 10 hours of in-car training and 10 hours work book (home link)

BDE Course is Beginner Driver Education Course.

No, You can not start the course without your G1 license,  You must have your G1 license by the time you are ready to enroll or start your course.

Yes, each student must complete their 20 hours in-class lesson,10 hours work book will be completed and hand over to the Crown driving Academy Inc. office, then you can start the in-car driving. If any student who will not complete their in-class portion will not be able to start their in-car driving until they finsh their  in-class portion based on ministry of Transportation regulations and instructor’s evaluation.*

Each student must bring their own "The official MTO driver's handbook" for in-class sessions.

You must start your driving lessons within eight (8) weeks of finishing your in-class lessons.

You must complete the course within one (1) year of your starting date.

Yes, you can pay half of the course fee on the 1st in-class lesson and the other half on your 1st in-car lesson or also we can make the payment arrangement according to your need.

You can pay  by MasterCard, Visa, Interact, Cheque, Cash or PayPal or in person at our office.

Yes, it is mandatory for all full course students to complete their 20 hours of classroom instructions, 10 hours of in-car training and 10 hours work book (home link) in order to get certify.

Yes, you can start the course from the begining of in-class (session) of any weekday or weekend courses. Please click on the schedule for more info or call our office for more information that we can let you know when in-class is starting.

Yes, you can use the instructor’s car for an additional cost depending upon which test centre you choose to go.

Also our some courses, instructor’s car for the road test is included in the course fee and in some courses is not included. Please visit our Courses page for more detail.

You can call at 416-325-8580, 1-888-570-6110 or log onto www.drivetest.ca or ask your instructor, or call our office that we can book road test for you but before you call us, make sure you pay any Ministry fee if applicable for the road test.

The next time you go for your test, you will have to pay fee for your G1 exit test means (G2) test, and fee for your G2 exit test means (G) test.

If you take our Ministry approved (BDE) course, you can take your first road test after waiting a minimum of 8 months from the date of your G1 license issue, and otherwise you must have to wait for 1 year.

All fees must be paid in full before I can start the in car lessons. When I am ready to start in car portion of the course. I will phone the office and leave my name, phone no, address and major intersection for an instructor to contact me to schedule an appointment. This will usually take 10 to14 business days however, when it is busy it could be longer too.

You can combine weekdays and weekends classes and get it done in 2 weeks or you can choose our 4 days course, if that is available at the time of your registration.

If you miss one class you will have to make up for the same missing class with next course.

Appointments for in car lessons not cancelled with in 24 hour notice will be charged $35.00/hr fully to the students.

When we will assign you the in-car instructor, you can arrange your driving lesson with him/her. Appointments will be arranged for a convenient time between the student and the instructor. In-car instructor cannot take every student for driving lesson on daily basis in order to accommodate the other student those are on their list. However if you wish to finish your in-car driving lessons on fast track, you may registered our express course. Please visit our Courses page for more detail.

Instructors will pick you up from your home and will drop you back there once the in-car lesson will be completed. If you have a preferred alternate location, speak to your instructor about it and they may be able to work something out if that is not his/her out of reach area.

Note: Crown Driving Academy Inc. is Scarborough based driving shool. It is not possible for any instructor to pick up student from downtown area or any further far area. Any student  from these area will be picked up from any nearest subway located in Scarborough,  pre arranged with your in-car instructor.

Yes, all our instructors are certified and have valid instructor licenses.

Yes. Every one of our in-car instructors is fully insured with instructor’s insurance.

It is not a certificate anymore, now it is called (DLH) Driver License History.

Only those who successfully completed the entire 40 hours course will call Crown Driving Academy Inc. to confirm if their certification is completed, then you go to your nearest Drivers & Vehicle License Issuing Office or any Service Ontario Office and Request for Driver License History (DLH) search for proof of Beginner Driver Education Course Completion.

Yes, at Crown Driving Academy Inc, we cover one of two certification fee. The other fee of $12.00 must be paid at the Driver & License Issuing Office or any Service Ontario Office when printing out your Driver License History (DLH) search for proof of Beginner Driver Education Course Completion.

The school only will complete an online certification for them once the training is complete. However Crown Driving Academy Inc. will not provide/issue any paper or letter as proof of completion of driving school course based on ministry of Transportation regulations and instructor’s evaluation.

You will not be required to present a certification paper (DLH) when going for your road test.

Insurance discounts may vary and Students are may be eligible for saving depending upon insurance companies, your driving record, your age, city where you live, type of car means how new or old the vehicles etc. Your Insurance Company or agent can tell you more specifically.

These 10 hour driving lessons are mandatory and part of the full course. After completion the course, if you feel the 10 hours were not enough, we also offer additional individual in car driving lessons as well as packages too. You can ask your instructor or you can call our office to book extra lessons or any further information.

Yes, there is, please contact our office for more info. Gift Certificate is non-transferable.

Note: Gift certificate which is not used can be cancel. An admin fee which is $100.00 plus hst will be applied. But  there will not be any refund of the total paid fee for the Gift Certificate after 3 years from the purchased date.
